The unexpected journey

This year has been a roller coaster ride for me. I published this website full of anxiety and hope... and a drive to expand. I had planned more video content and in person kids classes at HG workshops. I planned and bought materials for spring break classes and summer classes. I was super stoked and excited about this new direction, and then I got injured. For those of you that don't know me, I do all my own stunts- just not on purpose. Mid-February, I was out of work- all work. I had to step back and focus on my health and healing. Imagine that you are an active working mom (with 3-4 jobs), and then you are told you have to stop them all because you need to just take care of yourself.  It was incredibly frustrating and quite humbling. I have finally been cleared to begin again. It just might take me longer than I had hoped, but it is about the journey and not the destination. Most people are in such a hurry to get somewhere that they forget to look around and enjoy the journey itself. Sometimes the most beautiful things appear when you least expect them. Slowing down made me reflect on what is really important, and appreciate how much I love what I do. I can't wait to get back at this! I am already planning classes at HG Workshops! I want to get this website out there and have people try it. I am offering a free one month trial for a class. Please try it out, and give me feedback. Share the site with friends and family. I may have wandered from my original path, but I did find beauty in it and I am happy to be able to continue this journey!
